About this Course
When we look at our world and ourselves, it is quite evident that there is something wrong. We see poverty. We see natural disasters. We see cruelty and violence. We see our country that is going through a dark time. Our own hearts are filled with darkness too. Afterall, it is us humans that do cruel things. People lie, steal, kill, and destroy. Our world needs to be saved. Our hearts need to be changed.
God has not left us or our world alone. He sent Jesus as the Saviour of the World, to save us from ourselves and from our sins. We will look at how the God created the world and how humans sinned against God. We will examine the prophecies about the Saviour that God promised. We will look at the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Everything we study will point to one reality: Jesus is the Saviour of the world!

Lesson 1 — A Beautiful World Created
We often look at the world and we see all its ugliness. There are earthquakes, floods, volcanoes, and other natural disasters. This is not to even mention the evils committed by humans. But the Word of God teaches us that God created the world beautiful and good.
Lesson 2 — Paradise Lost
If God created everything beautiful and good, why is there so much suffering and evil in the world? God did not create us robots, but give us the freedom to choose to follow him or not. Our ancestors, Adam and Eve, choose to not follow God and as a result of their disobedience sin entered the world and marred our beautiful and good world.
Lesson 3 — Promise about the Saviour
Even though our ancestors sinned, God did not leave them alone in their misery and sin, but promised that a Saviour will come who will crush the head of Satan. Throughout Old Testament history, God continues the promise of the coming of the Saviour of the World.
Lesson 4 — The Birth of the Saviour
Has someone ever promised you something and even though years have passed, they have been faithful to that promise? God was faithful to his promised even after thousands of years. At the right time, He sent the Saviour to the world.
Lesson 5 — The Miracles of the Saviour
Miracles are signs and they point to something. The miracles of Jesus were also signs that he has the authority to save. He has authority over sickness, nature, the supernatural realm, and even death.
Lesson 6 — The Teachings of the Saviour
Jesus did not just come to do miracles or bring a new law. He came to deal with the sinful human heart. That is why his teaching always get to the core of our problems. The main cause of adulatory is lust and lust needs to be dealt with. The real cause of murder is anger and hatred. He came to deal with these issues by promising to give us a new birth and a new heart.
Lesson 7 — The Death of Our Saviour
The death of Jesus is one of the most establish facts of history and his resurrection is one of the greatest miracles in history. By his death and resurrection, Jesus accomplish the work that had been prophesied to do, which is to give his life to save sinners.
Lesson 8 — The Resurrection and Return of Christ
If the Saviour of the world had died and perished, we would all have been hopeless with no certainty of life after death. But Jesus displayed that he truly is our saviour by defeating death and resurrecting again. His invitation is for us to come to Him and find rest for our souls.
